🕓 Selecting or Adjusting Your Time Zone

Learn how to set or update your time zone so that all appointments, reminders, and consultation times display correctly on EuroMedClinic.

📅 Why the Correct Time Zone Matters

Setting your correct time zone helps EuroMedClinic:

  • Display available consultation slots in your local time
  • Send reminders at the right time
  • Prevent missed or mistimed consultations

If your time zone is incorrect, you may experience:

  • Joining the consultation too early or too late
  • Delayed notifications or reminder emails
  • Connection issues (for example, an expired or invalid consultation link)

🌍 When You Should Check Your Time Zone

We recommend checking your time zone if you:

  • Are traveling to another country
  • Live abroad
  • Use a VPN or remote IP address — this may affect automatic time zone detection

⚙️ How to View and Change Your Time Zone

Your current time zone appears on your My Account page in your EuroMedClinic patient profile — displayed next to your Patient ID.

If the time zone shown is incorrect:

  1. Click the gear icon next to the time zone
  2. You will be redirected to the Profile page
  3. In the Time Zone section, select the correct option from the dropdown menu
  4. Click Save to confirm changes

💡 By default, the system automatically detects your time zone when you log in.
However, if you’re using a VPN or remote IP connection, we recommend checking your settings manually to ensure your consultation time displays correctly.
